Transitions

So I checked out the last time I blogged and it was months ago...it's amazing how time flies and that it is already August 1. I must say that I have been having a really fabulous summer and doing a lot of things that have made my list of summer goals. Kayaking, beading, spinning, going on a brewery tour, using the boat more, hiking, etc. are just a few of the things that have been check marked off the list. I have also been to about 3 Brewers games this season...very cool.

Other than that~ I have moved to a new apartment with 2 wonderful people and I am very excited. I also got hired for an internship for the fall doing feature writing-which is right up my alley. Very exciting too! I am trading in my car for some new digs come Fall~ so it will be nice to have a new ride. I graduate in December and have a full plate for the fall. I am definetly ready for the next step after that...so time will tell. Transitioning into new things can be difficult, emotional, for the best, and overwhelming all at once. I became very emotional leaving 3020...the place I've called my second home for 3 years...with 6 other amazing best friends. It was hard for me to prepare myself for the next step, after considering moving home for the semester, but I love the East Side, the girls I live with, and am excited for the times to come. I will always have a place in my heart for all the memories in 3020*~ Change is inevitable but it's what you make of it that is important. I have taken all that the past 3 years have brought about and can look back and smile on all the times the girls and I had together.

I have also fallen in love with a man who still makes the butterflies fly loose. He is such a wonderful man and I am so blessed to be with him. I am excited for all that God has planned for our future*~

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

-Proverbs 3:5-6
